Rocking Roosters Lessons
Welcome to square dancing! We
are so pleased to have you join us. This page is meant to be a reference to be
used anytime before or after a lesson. In your first lesson, you learned the names
of the positions in each square and were introduced to 16 calls! A call is the
title used to specify each sequence of steps and/or movements that you will do
during a dance. You are now learning Basic and Mainstream calls. This page is a
record of the items covered in your last lesson(s). Feel free to come here to
peek at this page to refresh your memory whenever you might think it would be
valuable.
You can see a video clip of
dancers demonstrating any call on the list using this link: https://www.videosquaredancelessons.com/lessons/callindex.htm
Or you can see an animation
that demonstrates any call on the list. https://www.tamtwirlers.org/taminations/#level=Basic%201&action=CALLLIST
